Class Information

~ The Art of making Glass Beads on a torch is called 'Lampworking' and we would love to teach you how to make your very own glass beads~

Beginners will enjoy a comfortable, professional and intimate class experience. All of the glass, tools and instruction are provided in the class fee.


Beginners Workshop: is 4 classes of 3 hours each. In this workshop we will take you through all of the classic bead shapes, the art of making stringers and twisites for decoration and then teach you how to apply those to your bead. Each session should yield at least 5 beads, but typically more are produced. Any bead that we demo for you is yours to keep also. Class Fee is $250.00


"Lampworking and Lunch" 3rd Saturday of every month. (June - will be on the 4th Saturday June 25th) from 11am until 3:30 pm.
This is a beginner bead making class. This is a one day, four hour class that will teach you the fundamentals of making glass beads. We will focus on making a few accent beads and then progress to making a focal bead. We will have an array of colors for you to work with and by the end of the session you should have made enough beads to create a one of a kind piece of Jewelry for yourself or to give as a gift!.
All materials are provided and lunch will served by Miner Moe's Pizza.
Class fee is $100.00 pp.

Further and Private instruction is available @ $20/hr.

TORCH TIME RENTAL
BY THE HOUR OR BUY A BLOCK OF TIME OR RENT A SPOT AT THE TABLE BY THE WEEK OR MONTH....give us a call for more details on weekly and monthly rental
For those of you who are already familiar with the art of lampworking and would like to simply rent torch time, we would love to have you come over and torch ($12/hr). You must supply your own glass ( we do have some glass for sale) and tools.

Children 10-16
We do provide instruction for children starting at age 10 (may consider slightly younger after meeting your child in person). Because lampworking is done with a torch amd involves melting glass on a mandrel, we want to make sure that you feel your child would enjoy this atmosphere and feels comfortable using a torch.
To start him or her off, we would recommend the initial session be a 2 hour lesson of going through very basic round beads and feeling at ease with melting the glass. If they are happy after the first two hour session we can arrange for further 1 to 2 hour individualized sessions.
The initial session fee is $75.00 each hour thereafter is $20.00
